Open account with 888sport

888-sport-matched-betting-free-bet-offer

Once your 888sport account is open deposit £10.

This offer is a little different to others so far as 888sport will treble the odds on your first bet with them. We can use this to make a guaranteed profit due to the inflated odds. If your bet loses, you’ll make an instant profit and you’re done, if the bet wins, you’ll make an initial loss but receive a large free bet.  Win win!

Check the T&C’s to make sure no mistakes are made and you may need a bank of £350 to complete this offer.

Step 3 – Place qualifying ‘Back’ bet with 888sport

Open both Betfair and 888sport websites in your web browser so you can quickly find a good match or use a free tool like Odds Search (free signup) to find a match.  Remember the back odds need to be higher than normal as you want to maximise the value of the trebled odds so 4+ but remember that high odds means higher liability, so make sure you have enough in Betfair to cover this bet and your free bet to come.

Once you’ve found what you want to bet on, you need to calculate what the trebled 888sport odds would be.

Important:  Triple Odds Calculation

  • Subtract 1 from the odds
  • Multiply total by 2.6
  • Add the 1 back on
  • = new triple odds total to use as your back bet odds

Example:  So if your original odds are 4.0, you would enter 8.8 as your back odds, because 4 – 1 = 3, then 3 x 2.6 = 7.8. Add the 1 back on = 8.8.

Please note:  You will not see the boosted odds in your 888sport betslip. As long as this is your first bet, they will credit the treble odds payout as an extra bonus within 72 hours of the bet winning.

Step 4 – Place ‘Lay’ bet with Betfair

Use the Odds Search Calculator or Tricky Bets Calculator to work out your bets.

  • Select “Normal” at the top as it is your qualifying bet
  • The bookmaker stake is £10
  • Enter the trebled 888sport back odds (work this out using the method above).
  • Enter the exchange lay odds
  • Enter the lay commission (5% for Betfair)
  • Click on to calculate

As long as you remembered to use the formula above, the calculator should show you a profit of around £10. This is due to the inflated difference in odds between the back odds and the lay odds.

The lay stake and the liability will be shown, remember the “liability” is the amount you need to deposit into the exchange to cover your bet.

Step 5 – Convert free bet to profit

If your bet loses you are done with this offer as you have made an instant profit.

If your bet won, 888sport will credit your free bet within 72 hours of your bet being settled and will expire within 7 days..  The size of the free bet will depend on the odds you took. In our example, we would receive a £60 free bet.

Open both Betfair and 888sport websites in your web browser so you can quickly find a good match or use a free tool like Odds Search (free signup) to find a match, this time the higher the odds match the more profit you make but the more cash you need in Betfair to cover the bet (you get this back either way), go for above 4.0 if possible.

Use the Odds Search Calculator or Tricky Bets Calculator to work out your bets.

  • Select FREE BET SNR (SNR = stake not returned) at the top as it is your free bet
  • Enter the free bet stake
  • Enter the 888sport back odds
  • Enter the exchange lay odds
  • Enter the lay commission (5% for Betfair)
  • Click on to calculate

You should expect to make around £10 profit from this offer.
